Senior Director, IT (AI)

Location: Menlo Park, California, United States. The role supports global operations across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, including hybrid/remote work infrastructure and key offices.

Base salary for Region A: $276,000–$345,000 USD annually. Bonus and equity awards may also be available.

What you will do

• Define and execute a multi-year global IT strategy, roadmap, investment plan, and success metrics.
• Lead IT operations and service delivery across the Americas, EMEA, and APAC, including help desk, endpoint management, collaboration tools, office IT, and AV support.
• Develop the IT-led AI adoption roadmap, including tool selection, pilots, licensing, change management, training, and responsible AI practices.
• Own corporate infrastructure covering networks, Wi-Fi, VPN, device fleets, identity and access management, and core SaaS platforms.
• Partner with Security and Engineering on zero-trust controls, compliance, incident response, risk management, and secure-by-default configurations.
• Build and mentor a global IT organization while managing budgets, organizational development, and company-wide technology rollouts.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years leading global IT teams in a high-growth technology company.
• Experience scaling end-user computing, collaboration platforms, office IT/AV, enterprise SaaS, identity and access management, MDM, and network infrastructure.
• Experience working with CISO/GRC teams and supporting SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, or SOX controls.
• Proven ability to lead distributed teams across multiple time zones and advise executives on IT and digital strategy.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools, platforms, or infrastructure; familiarity with LLMs, generative AI, prompt engineering, or enterprise AI integration.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.

• Advanced degree or certifications such as ITIL, CISCP, or CISM.
• Experience developing governance, security, and adoption strategies for emerging technologies.
