What you will do

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care for patients and families throughout admission, treatment, and discharge.
• Provide cardiac surgery clinic nursing care, procedures, treatments, medication administration, and evidence-based interventions.
• Coordinate care plans, discharge planning, patient education, and communication across nursing, physician, case management, and other disciplines.
• Monitor patient responses and update care plans using clinical judgment, critical thinking, and data-driven evaluation.
• Advocate for patients and families while supporting culturally sensitive, safe, and high-quality care.
• Participate in patient safety, quality improvement, regulatory, performance improvement, and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to provide age-appropriate, culturally and ethnically sensitive care across the lifespan.
• Ability to work in a clinical environment involving prolonged standing and walking, patient transfers, emergency situations, irregular hours, and exposure to hazardous materials and infectious substances.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Specialty nursing certification.
• Relevant certifications such as ACLS or PALS.
