Planning Manager / Senior Planning Manager (Data Centres)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working. The role supports data centre projects in and around London and across Europe.

What you will do

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction projects from inception through completion.
• Develop detailed project plans covering activities, timelines, and critical milestones.
• Coordinate labour, equipment, and materials with resource managers.
• Maintain project schedules, monitor progress, and produce status reports, metrics, and forecasts.
• Identify schedule risks and bottlenecks, then develop contingency plans to reduce their impact.
• Integrate input from project managers, contractors, engineers, architects, and clients.

Requirements

• Construction-related degree or comparable construction qualification.
• Experience delivering projects as a consultant or client-side Project Planner.
• Experience scheduling construction projects from conception through completion, including RIBA stages 1–5.
• Proficiency with Asta PowerProjects and/or Primavera P6.
• In-depth knowledge of construction project management principles, techniques, and best practices.
• Data centre experience is highly preferred; transferable MEP, pharmaceutical, or energy-sector experience may also be considered.
