Staff Software Engineer - Full Stack (AI)

Location: New York, New York, United States

Base pay: $202,500–$274,000 per year, with potential bonus, equity rewards, and benefits.

What you will do

• Drive significant technology initiatives end to end across multiple layers of architecture.
• Architect and develop scalable, secure, maintainable applications and services.
• Define application, platform, and developer-tool best practices.
• Identify opportunities to enhance products with AI and launch AI integrations in production.
• Evaluate AI impact on software performance and user satisfaction using relevant metrics.
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams and coach junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience delivering enterprise-class applications.
• Proficiency in JavaScript application design and testing, plus mid-tier languages such as Java.
• Experience with scalable web and mobile applications, accessibility, internationalization, instrumentation, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Experience with test automation, TDD, unit, integration, and functional testing; relational database design; SQL and NoSQL databases; and analytics.
• Experience with microservices, containers, Kubernetes or similar systems, cloud environments, and AI integration and monitoring.

Nice to have

• Experience in utility computing or cloud computing domains.
• Experience with LLM prompting or AutoML modeling.
