Video Producer (AI)

Location: Redwood City, United States; hybrid

Base salary: $150,000–$165,000 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own video production end to end, from story development and scripting through shooting, editing, and final cut.
• Create product explainers, release walkthroughs, brand and hype videos, customer testimonials, webinar clips, podcast assets, and short-form social content.
• Present and host content as an on-camera video evangelist with product-marketing-level understanding.
• Develop Ambient's YouTube content strategy and publishing cadence.
• Create video assets for LinkedIn, paid advertising, and other distribution channels.
• Establish an in-house video studio and move production away from external vendors.

Requirements

• 5+ years of independent video production experience, including concept development, scripting, shooting, and post-production.
• Proficiency with standard video editing, motion graphics, and animation software.
• Confidence presenting and hosting on camera.
• Working knowledge of cameras, lighting, and set organization for studio and location shoots.
• Experience building and growing a YouTube or comparable content channel, including programming, editing, and publishing.
• Daily fluency with AI tools for editing workflows, scripting, story development, and content research.

Nice to have

• Experience building a video program using social media distribution.
• Experience producing customer testimonials in-house.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn video and advertising formats.
• Podcast video editing or production support experience.
