What you will do

• Evaluate donor eligibility through medical history reviews, physical assessments, informed consent discussions, and review of test results.
• Administer and supervise approved immunizations and monitor donors for adverse reactions.
• Provide limited emergency care within the scope of licensure, certification, training, and SOPs.
• Consult with the center Licensed Physician about abnormal results, eligibility concerns, and immunization orders.
• Document donor information, immunization records, eligibility assessments, and Physician Communication Logs in NexLynk.
• Support center operations, quality systems, compliance, staff training, and donor-focused service.

Requirements

• Graduate of a recognized healthcare-related program as a Physician, LPN, or RN, or hold an allowable EMT Basic, Intermediate, or Advanced/Paramedic certification or license.
• Current, valid state license or certification for the applicable professional qualification.
• Current CPR certification.
• State-issued authorization or license to perform moderate-complexity testing.
• Ability to work day, evening, weekend, holiday, and extended shifts as needed.
• Ability to perform blood-drawing tasks, CPR, physical donor care, and work with PPE and potential blood-borne pathogen exposure.

Nice to have

• At least one year of experience in a hospital, field-care, or plasma-center setting.
