EMT - Sea World (Seasonal, SeaWorld San Diego)

Location: hirify.global San Diego and Sesame Place San Diego; must be willing to work at both parks

Salary: 20.00 USD per hour

What you will do

• Respond to medical emergencies throughout the parks.
• Assess injuries and illnesses, administer treatment, and complete required documentation.
• Provide ongoing care for ambassadors with workers compensation injuries.
• Coordinate appointments and care with physicians, insurance representatives, and other stakeholders.
• Check safety and rescue equipment daily and report hazards.
• Participate in department training and emergency drills.

Requirements

• Current San Diego County EMT or Paramedic Certification required.
• At least 18 years of age and a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR health care provider card.
• At least six months of related BLS patient-care experience, excluding volunteer work.
• English reading, writing, and speaking ability required.
• Ability to make sound decisions, communicate with doctors and insurance representatives, and calculate medical doses and measurements.
• Availability for weekends, evenings, overnight shifts, holidays, indoor and outdoor work, and work at both San Diego parks.
