What you will do
- Manage internal material-flow processes and ERP systems from inbound supplier materials through outbound finished goods across distribution centers and production facilities.
- Optimize warehousing operations, including material staging, storage, replenishment, receiving, shipping, and cycle counting.
- Document and implement standard work processes and system usage to improve material handling, inventory accuracy, delivery performance, and production continuity.
- Oversee inventory management, material control, barcode and RFID transactions, fill rates, and adherence to inventory procedures.
- Partner with Quality, Purchasing, Planning, and Production to resolve delivery and quality issues and achieve operational KPIs.
- Act as an SAP Super User and support materials staff through training, coaching, mentoring, and process-improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Supply Chain, or four years of related experience.
- 5+ years of experience with material control systems and processes.
- Demonstrated performance and progression in operations, business, or supply chain.
- Knowledge of warehouse and materials functions, including receiving, material flow, inventory management, stock transfer orders, and replenishment techniques.
- Strong process-improvement, troubleshooting, organization, planning, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds and regularly stand and walk in a manufacturing environment.
Nice to have
- Experience with SAP or an equivalent ERP system.
- CPIM or CSCP certification.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with problem solving, conflict resolution, and influencing teams across cultures, disciplines, and geographies.
