Senior Associate Project Manager - Healthcare (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Lead healthcare and life sciences construction projects from inception through completion.
• Monitor programme, cost, quality, risk, and project performance, ensuring delivery to agreed deadlines and budgets.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across design, procurement, and construction phases.
• Manage client relationships and act as the main interface for clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
• Lead healthcare bid preparation, fee proposals, account development, and business development activities.
• Manage internal resourcing, mentor junior colleagues, and support professional development and chartership.

Requirements

• Degree qualification in a relevant discipline.
• Professional accreditation, or progress toward accreditation, such as RICS, CIOB, or APM.
• Demonstrable experience delivering healthcare, life sciences, or NHS projects from conception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction project delivery and contract administration, including NEC; JCT experience is preferred.
• Consultancy or client-side experience, with the ability to manage multiple projects, stakeholders, and deadlines.
• Experience with work winning, client account development, business development, and programming or scheduling using Asta Powerproject, MS Project, or similar.

Nice to have

• Experience drafting business cases, feasibility studies, outline business cases, and full business cases in line with HM Treasury Green Book principles and the Five Case Model.
