Database Application Development Engineer (Oracle/PL-SQL)

What you will do

• Partner with Fab Manufacturing and Engineering stakeholders to identify data and business needs.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and translate requirements into software and database solutions.
• Implement and test application and database software releases.
• Configure manufacturing execution systems and manage continuous-improvement projects.
• Provide Tier 3 technical support for complex manufacturing system issues through a 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Document business processes, troubleshoot issues, and communicate project status, risks, and recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related STEM field with 3+ years of relevant industry experience, or a master’s or Ph.D. in a related field.
• Experience with RDBMS platforms such as Oracle, MS-SQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with PL/SQL and C#.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and the software development life cycle.
• Strong business-process analysis, documentation, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to work on-site in the United States and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Nice to have

• Oracle certification such as OCA, OCP, or OCM.
