Salary: $125,000 - $145,000 per year

What you will do

• Handle full life-cycle Oracle database development: data modeling, architecture, SQL/PL/SQL coding, tuning, testing, and production support.
• Design and implement maintainable database solutions for high-volume applications.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and drive product-wide implementations.
• Develop technical specs from functional and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, DevSecOps, designers, and analysts on complex problems.
• Create and refactor reusable database objects emphasizing modularity and testability.
• Profile, optimize SQL queries and execution plans at scale.
• Enforce coding standards, peer reviews, documentation, and CI/CD integration for databases.

Requirements

• 7+ years hands-on Oracle SQL/PL/SQL in production.
• Strong Oracle performance tuning (AWR, ASH, execution plans, indexing).
• CI/CD experience (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and Git workflows.
• Database migration tools (Liquibase, Flyway).
• Unit testing for PL/SQL (utPLSQL or similar).
• Bachelor's in Engineering, IT, CS or related preferred (waivable with experience).
• Ability to meet U.S. security clearance eligibility.
