Oracle Developer (Oracle)

Location: Hybrid role requiring 3 days in the office in La Vergne, Tennessee; candidates must be based in or willing to relocate to the Nashville, TN region.

Salary: $110,981–$141,123 annually.

What you will do

• Maintain, develop, support, and test Oracle-based backend applications for print-on-demand operations.
• Build and maintain modular Oracle PL/SQL packages, stored procedures, and functions.
• Write, optimize, monitor, and tune complex SQL and PL/SQL queries, including execution plan analysis and analytic functions.
• Manage large-table data lifecycles through scheduled purging and archiving of historical or obsolete data.
• Generate flat-file, XML, and JSON outputs using UTL_FILE and native Oracle packages.
• Automate file processing and system integration tasks with Unix/Linux shell scripts, while addressing concurrency, locking, and database support issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent directly related experience.
• At least 2 years of experience with Oracle, including SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience with Oracle Enterprise Edition programming, including stored procedures and packages.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, XML file structures, Oracle transaction management, locking, and concurrency control.
• Hands-on experience with UTL_FILE, Oracle Scheduler, Linux, and shell scripting.
• Ability to work in the La Vergne office 3 days per week and be based in or willing to relocate to the Nashville region.

Nice to have

• Java/JSP experience.
• Experience with Claude Code.
