Environmental Specialist – Stack

Location: Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; field work at customer locations with overnight and local travel up to 75% or more of the time.

Salary: CAD $24–$26 per hour, with overtime opportunities.

What you will do

• Follow established testing methods and procedures to support consistent source testing.
• Perform field source tests professionally at customer locations.
• Record complete and accurate test data on datasheets.
• Prepare, clean, repair, calibrate, and fabricate glassware and other project equipment.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Valid driver’s license and flexibility for weekend travel or work on selected projects.
• Ability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screening.
• Ability to travel overnight and locally for multi-weekday projects up to 75% or more of the time.

Nice to have

• Transferable experience as a laborer, construction worker, industrial maintenance technician, mechanic, laboratory worker, or environmental or field science professional.
