HazMat Field Driver/Technician – AZ - CANADA

Location: Sarnia, Ontario, Canada

Pay range: $26.60–$36.57 per hour, depending on the hiring locality.

What you will do

• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste to designated generator sites.
• Operate roll-offs, tankers, box trucks, tractor-trailers, and other commercial vehicles for bulk, containerized, and LTL pickups.
• Complete driver documentation, logbooks, trip reports, permits, and waste manifests.
• Apply accurate placarding, labeling, HAZMAT load segregation, and load-securement procedures.
• Perform DOT/MOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain company equipment.
• Communicate with customers, process materials, maintain site housekeeping, and participate in safety programs and required training.

Requirements

• Class AZ Commercial Driver’s License required.
• Hazardous material and tanker endorsements required, or the ability to obtain them within 90 days of hire.
• Ability to use hand and shop tools and instruments.
• Accuracy, thoroughness, attention to detail, prioritization, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
