CFD Co-op (Winter 2027)

Location: Downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada office

Hourly pay: CAD 21.00–31.00

What you will do

• Support a variety of Computational Fluid Dynamics projects for building structures.
• Work concurrently on projects at different design and construction stages.
• Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures under professional or Project Manager supervision.
• Perform supervised design calculations and element design.
• Document CFD assumptions and methodology, report final results, create CAD models, and assist with numerical model setup.
• Collaborate with the CFD team and learn from subject matter experts through mentorship.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate Engineering program.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, oral and written communication skills.
• Basic Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to learn independently and work successfully in a team environment.
• Commitment to active participation in an employee-owned culture.

Nice to have

• At least two years completed toward an engineering degree and a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Knowledge of CFD engineering principles.
• Experience with ANSYS Fluent, CFX, COMSOL Multiphysics, or Star-CCM+.
• Experience with Revit, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam Revu.
• Previous experience at an engineering firm.
