Mortgage Area Sales Manager

What you will do

• Manage home-lending production for mortgage loan officers and support staff.
• Coordinate activities supporting the promotion and delivery of mortgage products and services.
• Grow, retain, and develop a sales force covering the market geography.
• Drive productivity through sales initiatives and marketing collateral.
• Establish short- and long-term sales strategies with internal and external business partners.
• Align mortgage activities with customer experience expectations and manage associated business risks.

Requirements

• Associate degree or a comparable combination of education, certifications, and experience.
• Typically, 5 or more years of relevant industry experience.
• Typically, at least 3 years of prior management experience.
• Knowledge of mortgage products, banking products, sales activities, client prospecting, and customer relationships.
• Strong communication, selling, customer solution, and strategic sales planning skills.
• Additional background checks may be required under consumer financial protection and mortgage licensing regulations.
