Area Mortgage Banking Manager

What you will do

• Lead residential mortgage sales activities across the Raleigh market and meet or exceed personal and team production goals.
• Recruit, train, coach, and support a small team of Mortgage Loan Originators.
• Originate loans through internal and external referral sources and develop relationships with Centers of Influence.
• Manage sales strategies, mortgage partnerships, cross-sell initiatives, customer satisfaction, and file quality objectives.
• Support loan structuring, quality file delivery, mortgage pipeline management, and collaboration with Operations.
• Participate in sales and operational meetings, present market updates, and manage daily business risks and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; a BA or BS is preferred.
• Experience with mortgage originations and mortgage sales management.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and detail-oriented skills.
• Working knowledge of office equipment, personal computers, job-related software, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry Identifier preferred and required for the role. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment-based visa sponsorship is not provided.
