What you will do

• Provide courteous customer service and resolve account and service-related issues.
• Open new accounts, maintain account records, explain disclosures and FDIC protection, and educate customers about banking products.
• Process teller transactions, balance daily activity, safeguard cash and negotiable instruments, and support vault, safe, and ATM operations.
• Identify customer needs, acquire new banking relationships, and make appropriate referrals to licensed representatives.
• Follow regulatory, compliance, security, audit, CIP, and BSA procedures.
• Assist with training and mentoring new Tellers, Customer Service Representatives, and Universal Bankers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of combined retail banking experience as a Teller or Customer Service Representative.
• Experience developing customer relationships and knowledge of banking products and services.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, written, verbal, phone, organizational, and judgment skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Weekend work, extended hours, coverage at neighboring branches, and occasional travel for mandatory training may be required.

Nice to have

• Understanding of banking risks, compliance, fraud, and loss prevention.
• Willingness to cross-train in other branch functions.
