Cybersecurity Test Manager (Technical) (Cybersecurity)

Location: Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, United States; hybrid schedule with 2–3 days per week in the office and travel to test sites

Supports the U.S. Department of Defense and federal agencies with cybersecurity testing and evaluation for military systems.

What you will do

• Manage cybersecurity test projects, program objectives, requirements, resources, schedules, and costs for DoD and federal agency customers.
• Develop and support test plans and strategies covering objectives, methods, resources, and execution procedures.
• Coordinate and oversee cybersecurity developmental and operational test events, including planning, execution, analysis, and reporting.
• Lead diverse, multi-skilled test teams and coordinate administrative and logistical requirements.
• Present and document technical test results for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Monitor emerging cybersecurity threats and update testing plans and procedures to mitigate new risks.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required; ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret clearance with a Single Scope Background Investigation is required.
• Technical master’s degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience in test management, cybersecurity, computer engineering, computer science, IT systems, or related team management; additional experience may substitute for education.
• Experience with DoD development or operational testing, including aircraft and weapon systems testing and evaluation.
• Experience with aircraft, weapon, cloud, traditional Internet Protocol system architectures, or avionics.
• Strong project management, analytical, communication, team management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15–20 weeks per year, including to worldwide test sites; test events typically last 5–10 days.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the DoD Assess and Authorize process and Risk Management Framework.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001, and SOC 2.
• Knowledge of vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, risk assessments, network security, and DoD acquisition processes.
• CISSP or CASP certification.
