Product Manager, VP – Business Finance Technology (Python/SQL)

Expected annual base salary: $160,000–$250,000

What you will do

• Lead product and project workstreams across Finance, Operations, Real Estate, and Private Equity stakeholders.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements covering data models, logic flows, and system interactions.
• Partner with engineering teams to design and implement scalable solutions using Python, SQL, APIs, data pipelines, and cloud-based services.
• Modernize legacy solutions and establish code-based approaches to process automation and system design.
• Manage milestones, stakeholder updates, solution architecture trade-offs, and project delivery.
• Lead user acceptance testing and oversee data migration, reconciliation, validation, and auditability.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product management, business analysis, or software engineering, preferably in a highly technical role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Experience in real estate or private equity, including performance calculations, deal lifecycles, forecasting, and investor reporting.
• Strong programming and data manipulation knowledge, including Python, SQL, APIs, data pipelines, or backend logic.
• Familiarity with version control, testing, modular design, deployment practices, and modern data or BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Sigma.
• Strong analytical, communication, and decision-making skills with the ability to bridge technical and business audiences.
