CB Mechanical Technician

What you will do

• Diagnose, maintain, repair, and install manufacturing equipment.
• Respond to escalated mechanical problems and complete equipment repairs.
• Lead maintenance technicians and external contractors during major plant turnarounds and other special events.
• Work with maintenance supervisors, managers, and planners to identify equipment trends and develop inspection and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain digital records of maintenance activities and spare parts inventory.
• Participate in safety meetings, complete required safety training, and maintain clean work areas.

Requirements

• Knowledge and experience with mechanical maintenance and repair procedures.
• Knowledge of manufacturing machines and tools, including their design and use.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and instructions and use shop power tools.
• Completed certified vocational or technical mechanical apprenticeship.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly, collaborate with a team, work changing assignments, and support off-shift or after-hours work.
