TL;DR
Data Analyst - Sustainability (SQL/Power BI): Maintaining sustainability data banks, reporting systems, and analytics tools covering plastics, chemistry, carbon, deforestation, and waste with an accent on data integrity, regulatory reporting, and stakeholder access. Focus on developing product and packaging data repositories, building self-serve dashboards, and translating complex sustainability data into actionable business insights.
Location: Denby, Derbyshire, UK; applicants must have the right to work in the UK. The role is office-based: 5 days per week during the first 90 days, then 4 days in the office and 1 day working from home each week.
Salary: Competitive salary plus bonus.

What you will do
- Maintain sustainability data sources, databases, repositories, and analytics tools with a focus on accuracy, integrity, and accessibility.
- Manage product and product packaging data in the Sustainability Databank, along with competitor sustainability analysis repositories.
- Provide sustainability data for RD&E, Supply Chain, Commercial, Finance, corporate, regulatory, and regional stakeholders.
- Support project sponsors and managers with project-specific sustainability data requirements.
- Contribute to self-service reporting portals, dashboards, and insight-generation tools.
- Support sustainability reports and data submissions while helping meet regulatory and financial legislation requirements.
Requirements
- Experience with SQL, Excel, Power Query, and data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Familiarity with SAP or similar PLM tools and product analytics platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Ability to translate technical data and regulatory requirements into business insights and actionable directions.
- Strong attention to detail and a structured, proactive approach to managing complex data sets.
- Right to work in the UK is required; domestic and international relocation is not provided.
