People Data Analyst

Location: El Segundo, California, United States; onsite

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 base compensation per year, excluding bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data models for headcount, attrition, engagement, performance, and DEI metrics.
• Develop scalable data pipelines and reporting frameworks while ensuring HR data accuracy, integrity, and consistency.
• Analyze workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to leadership on hiring, retention, and organizational design.
• Evaluate performance reviews, engagement initiatives, and learning and development programs.
• Collaborate with People, Finance, business leaders, HRIS, and engineering teams to improve data architecture and accessibility.
• Automate manual reporting and establish data governance and documentation practices.

Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or people analytics.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Experience with Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar data visualization tools.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for modeling and analysis.
• Ability to communicate complex data clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Experience in People Analytics, HR, or organizational data.
• Familiarity with Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, or other HRIS systems.
• Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics.
• Understanding of statistics, experimentation, and forecasting methods.
• Experience in high-growth or operationally intensive environments.
