Facilities Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Denby and Little Eaton, United Kingdom. The role is primarily site-based, with remote work available once a week for eligible employees. Weekend work may occasionally be required. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK; domestic and international relocation are not provided.

What you will do

• Lead the facilities maintenance strategy for the Denby and Little Eaton sites, covering planned, predictive, and reactive maintenance.
• Manage the SAP facilities maintenance system, facility upgrades, investment planning, and maintenance best practices.
• Own the facilities maintenance budget and deliver P&L results, including MRO spend, building repairs, and site utilities.
• Monitor and improve facilities contractor performance and contractor-management processes.
• Ensure facility works comply with SC Johnson standards and UK and European safety, health, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Support capital projects, energy-reduction programmes, ISO 50001 compliance, and the site's sustainability and net-zero objectives.

Requirements

• Experience in facilities management within a related industry.
• Knowledge of UK regulations covering fire safety, legionella control, electrical safety, gas safety, and air-handling systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, planning, organisation, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• NEBOSH or IOSH qualification is desirable.
• Right to work in the UK is required.
