Registered Nurse, RN – Operating Room, New Competitive Pay!

Location: Lowell General Hospital, Main Campus – Operating Room, Lowell, Massachusetts, United States

Pay range: $37.50–$75.32 per hour

What you will do

• Provide direct nursing care to surgical patients and their families.
• Apply the nursing process in accordance with established policies, procedures, and practices.
• Monitor patients during the perioperative and recovery processes.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.
• Work across a 24/7 operating-room environment with thirteen surgical rooms, including pediatric and orthopedic suites.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure in Massachusetts in good standing is required.
• 12 months to less than 3 years of RN experience.
• Current Basic Life Support certification is required.
• Relevant department-specific certification may be required.
• BSN is strongly preferred; candidates with an associate degree may be considered and are encouraged to enroll in a BSN program within one year of hire.
• Experience in telemetry or an intermediate-care setting is preferred; ACLS certification is preferred.
