Location: D4 Cardiac Step-Down Unit, Saints Campus, Lowell General Hospital, Lowell, Massachusetts, United States

Pay range: $37.50–$68.47 per hour

What you will do

• Provide direct nursing care to patients and families in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Conduct, document, and evaluate accurate clinical assessments.
• Develop, implement, and revise individualized patient care plans.
• Manage patient assignments, delegate care appropriately, and coordinate with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families and develop discharge plans using appropriate resources and referrals.
• Support new staff development through transition assistance and precepting.

Requirements

• Massachusetts RN licensure required.
• 12 months to less than 3 years of RN experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Department-specific certifications relevant to the patient population may be required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM and meet the physical requirements of patient care.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
