Associate Fire Engineer

What you will do

• Assist and manage a team of fire consultants while advising the Partner.
• Deliver fire engineering, fire risk assessment, compartmentation, quality monitoring, and building safety consultancy services.
• Visit sites and provide fire safety guidance, advice, and training to clients.
• Provide quality assurance and compliance support across client assignments.
• Liaise with enforcing authorities and advise clients on fire safety standards and best practice.
• Support bids, develop the fire consultancy service, and contribute to management financial reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum Level 5 qualification in a fire-related discipline.
• Robust knowledge of UK fire safety legislation.
• Strong technical delivery experience and client-facing consultancy skills.
• Membership of IFE, IFSM, or an equivalent professional body.
• Experience directing complex projects, prioritising workloads, and meeting deadlines.
• Experience managing and developing team members, building client relationships, and securing new business.
