Network Engineer (Prisma SD-WAN)

Location: United States; applicants must already be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis. The role requires eligibility for applicable U.S. government security and access requirements and includes an on-call rotation, after-hours installations, and less than 5% travel.

Salary: $77,100–$118,600 total base pay annually.

What you will do

• Design and implement Prisma SD-WAN solutions and improve existing customer networks.
• Install, configure, support, and troubleshoot Prisma SD-WAN equipment and related SD-WAN or LAN solutions.
• Act as the primary escalation point for NOC support issues, outages, network faults, and complex incidents.
• Create engineering documentation and report network status to stakeholders and leadership.
• Support implementations, troubleshooting, repairs, and deployments with engineering, operations, customers, and vendors.
• Participate in on-call coverage and after-hours installations and maintenance.

Requirements

• Current authorization to work in the United States is required; employer-sponsored work authorization, including OPT, TN, and H1B, is not available.
• Strong knowledge of Palo Alto Prisma SD-WAN edge networking and security, including at least one year designing and installing Prisma SD-WAN.
• Advanced network troubleshooting experience with BGP, OSPF, QoS, SNMP, VLANs, STP, VRF-Lite, IPv4 subnetting, IPv6 addressing, encryption, and edge network security.
• Current CCNA or CCNP certification.
• Four or more years of Tier 3 ISP or MSP support experience, or two or more years as a Network Engineer or more senior networking professional supporting enterprise customers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional or military experience.

Nice to have

• Prisma SD-WAN certification.
• SD-WAN experience with VMware, Versa, or Fortinet.
