Salary: $96,400–$120,500 per year

What you will do
- Define, maintain, and support Operational Smart Grid infrastructure policies, standards, procedures, tools, and projects.
- Respond to infrastructure incidents, tasks, and service requests in line with Service Level Agreements.
- Design, plan, implement, and maintain infrastructure changes and technologies through change management processes.
- Lead technical implementation plans and the evaluation, selection, and testing of hardware and software products.
- Maintain NERC/CIP regulatory compliance and high-quality security controls for critical SCADA systems.
- Coordinate with internal clients, suppliers, contractors, project teams, and technical staff, while providing mentoring and 24x7 on-call support.
Requirements
- Must work on-site in Binghamton, New York.
- BS/BA in Business, Computer Science, or another technical discipline; equivalent experience or technical certifications may be considered. An MA/MS degree is preferred.
- At least 7 years of experience with enterprise infrastructure solutions, or 5–12+ years depending on education level.
- Experience with networking, vxLAN, vPC, Spanning Tree, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, firewalls, security tools, scripting, SDN, load balancing, and Cisco Nexus virtual switching.
- Experience in one or more of data center operations, disaster recovery and business continuity, security and compliance, UNIX/Linux/Microsoft operating systems, VMware, or Citrix.
- Strong collaboration, communication, problem-solving, customer service, and independent-working skills.
Nice to have
- Experience with SD-WAN and tunneling or encryption transport technologies.
- Network security automation and DevOps experience.
- Associated infrastructure or security certifications.
- MA/MS degree.
