Senior Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer

What you will do

• Develop and update process flow charts, PFMEA, ODS, and related manufacturing documentation.
• Support control plan updates and coordinate engineering changes from product engineering to the operating level.
• Advise, educate, and train team leaders on assembly process steps.
• Coordinate monthly Kaizen and 5S improvement activities using Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Optimize production line layouts and line balancing according to customer forecasts.
• Track and reduce scrap, rework, downtime, and consumable usage while supporting audits, prototypes, equipment ordering, and production buy-off.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of takt-time balancing, basic manufacturing systems, value stream mapping, and Rolled Throughput Yield.
• Knowledge of QS-9000 and IATF 16949 quality systems.
• Ability to use AutoCAD, 2D CAD, and SolidWorks 3D.
• Good command of written and spoken English; strong skills in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Visio.
