Associate General Counsel (Molecular Diagnostics)

Location: Remote, hybrid, or onsite options available, with occasional travel.

Compensation: $241,165–$267,962 base salary per year; total compensation package up to $496,554 per year, including equity and bonus.

hirify.global is a publicly traded molecular diagnostics company developing prenatal and cancer diagnostic tests using QCT molecular counting and cell-free DNA technologies.

What you will do

• Identify and address legal and compliance risks across product, marketing, commercial operations, market access, R&D, people operations, and finance.
• Identify gaps in policies and processes and build compliance infrastructure for a growing life sciences organization.
• Develop policies, standard operating procedures, implementation processes, and employee training programs.
• Draft, negotiate, review, interpret, and manage strategic and high-value company contracts.
• Research unfamiliar legal issues, gather business input, make judgment calls, and drive matters to resolution.
• Partner with Finance, Sales, Market Access, Reimbursement, R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, HR, and legal colleagues.

Requirements

• JD and active license to practice law in one or more US jurisdictions.
• 5+ years of experience in a law firm and/or in-house legal department, ideally in life sciences or healthcare.
• Experience advising commercial leaders on business strategy, product promotion, sales programs, transactions, and other commercial initiatives.
• Experience developing legal and regulatory compliance processes, drafting and implementing policies, and delivering employee training.
• Exposure to commercial compliance, securities and corporate governance, contract drafting and negotiation, intellectual property, or labor and employment matters.
• Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and communicate practical legal solutions.
