Associate General Counsel

Location: 100% remote within the USA

Salary: $180,000–$230,000 per year base pay, plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Colorado range: $180,000–$230,000.

What you will do

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage SaaS agreements, MSAs, SOWs, order forms, NDAs, DPAs, vendor agreements, distribution agreements, partnership agreements, and other commercial contracts.
• Partner with business leadership, product, operations, and finance on enterprise deals and strategic initiatives.
• Advise on product development and launches by identifying legal risks and developing practical business solutions.
• Analyze evolving requirements involving privacy, data security, telecommunications, consumer protection, FDA, DEA, pharmacy, ecommerce, marketplace, and veterinary practice regulations.
• Translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into practical guidance for product, engineering, operations, and business teams.
• Support new products, markets, commercial models, and regulated workflows.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of legal experience, including experience at a top-tier law firm.
• J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in at least one U.S. state bar.
• Strong commercial contracting experience with SaaS, technology, enterprise customers, MSAs, SOWs, order forms, DPAs, and vendor agreements.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, issue-spotting, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience advising high-growth technology, SaaS, regulated, or enterprise software companies.
• Must be eligible to work in the USA; work visa sponsorship is not available.
