Torque Tech 3rd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, USA; onsite, 3rd shift

Base pay: $24.66–$29.47 per hour

What you will do

• Support production lines with torque-tool issues and perform scheduled torque audits across A, B, and C class joints.
• Establish and validate P-Sets from engineering drawings and apply them to the correct torque monitors.
• Manage tool calibration, labeling, setup, maintenance, repair, and replacement while following safety and ergonomic requirements.
• Set up and monitor torque databases and audit routes for production models, review torque results, and report trends or out-of-specification conditions.
• Conduct torque-to-failure studies and joint analyses, and support pilot builds, rework, sorting, inspection, and troubleshooting.
• Program tools, develop audit strategies, train operators, and coordinate applications with tool suppliers and maintenance.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience as a Torque Specialist or equivalent experience with DC torque tools.
• 3–5 years of manufacturing experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; an associate degree in a technical field is preferred.
• Knowledge of torque concepts, torque-monitoring equipment, pneumatic tools, and electric tools.
• Ability to read blueprints, understand GD&T standards, troubleshoot processes, products, and tools, and perform torque-auditor duties across all lines.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not provided.
