Senior Client Operations Manager (Clinical Research)

Salary: $83,000–$173,000 annual base pay

What you will do

• Manage strategic client relationships and support consistent, high-quality clinical study delivery.
• Establish client governance structures, meeting schedules, communication plans, and portfolio review processes.
• Track portfolio health, performance metrics, Key Performance Indicators, Service Level Agreements, risks, priorities, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with global project teams, operational leaders, Business Development, clients, and Contract Research Organization counterparts.
• Participate in operational committees, bid defense meetings, capabilities presentations, audits, technical reviews, and proposal development.
• Define client-specific standards, coordinate training, manage changing requirements, and promote process improvements.

Requirements

• 7 years of clinical or research industry experience, including 5 years of project management experience, preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in sciences or a related field preferred; equivalent education, training, and experience may be accepted.
• Experience with project budgets, performance metrics, Key Performance Indicators, and Service Level Agreements.
• Knowledge of global clinical project operations, client governance practices, and Master Service Agreement requirements.
• Familiarity with clinical study delivery under the International Council for Harmonisation E6 Guideline for Good Clinical Practice.
• Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, coordination, and relationship-management skills.
