Focus on performing in-flight engineering duties, maintaining NVG and aircraft currency, meeting Army flight-hour requirements, and supporting training and annual evaluations.

What you will do
- Perform flight engineer duties and in-flight support for pilots in accordance with applicable Service and FAA standards.
- Complete maintenance test flights and functional check flight operations on AFTD aircraft.
- Provide aviation maintenance and repair services for aircraft, aviation systems, and associated support equipment.
- Perform fault isolation, troubleshooting, and organizational/intermediate-level maintenance.
- Manage contractor pilot and non-rated crewmember flight records.
- Assist with student training and train others in flight engineer duties.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- FAA A&P license or completion of military aircraft repairer school for the H-47 series, plus at least 7 years of aircraft maintenance experience or 4 years of verifiable rotary-wing Army Aviation RDT&E maintenance experience.
- Military installation DEPOT-level maintenance experience and experience with safety, documentation, HAZMAT, training, licensing, scheduling, production control, and management.
- Meet the minimum Flight Engineer flight-hour requirements under AR 95-20 and qualify for the applicable aircraft platform.
- Hold a current FAA or military Class III Medical Certificate and maintain APU, NVG, and aircraft currency.
- Must be a US citizen and have or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance.
