Registered Nurse, RN- R3 Intermediate Care- New Competitive Pay!

Location: Lowell General Hospital, Riley 3 (R3) Intermediate Care Unit, Saints Campus, Lowell, Massachusetts. Full-time evening/night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with 36 hours per week and a required weekend and holiday commitment.

Pay range: $37.50–$68.47 per hour.

What you will do

• Provide direct nursing care to patients and their families in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Conduct and document clinical assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Use professional nursing judgment to adapt care plans to changing patient needs.
• Manage patient assignments through effective delegation and coordination with the care team.
• Develop patient and family education and discharge plans using appropriate resources and referrals.
• Support new staff transitions, precept colleagues, participate in performance improvement, and contribute to professional development and departmental committees.

Requirements

• Massachusetts RN licensure required.
• 12 months to less than 3 years of RN experience required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Relevant department-specific certifications may be required.
• Knowledge of the nursing process and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.
• Ability to lift and maneuver patients, with prolonged standing and walking and possible exposure to infectious disease, blood-borne pathogens, and carcinogenic chemicals.
