What you will do

• Manage litigation from complaint filing through appeals, including claim evaluation, defense oversight, trial reporting, negotiations, and presenting resolutions to senior management.
• Track and analyze legislative, regulatory, and industry developments affecting claims and the business.
• Ensure appropriate claims payments and reserving while supporting the reduction of claim costs.
• Monitor claims and respond to client inquiries to maintain business relationships.
• Collaborate with underwriters, actuaries, adjusters, lawyers, HR, and other business partners on risk assessment, policy issues, and claim resolution.
• Support data and operations teams in analyzing key metrics and delivering projects and programs.

Requirements

• Candidate for a Juris Doctor degree, expected no later than June 2027; an unofficial transcript is required with the application.
• Availability to start the program on July 26, 2027.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in a professional environment.
• Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to collaborate, manage multiple priorities, and adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Interest in litigation and commitment to a career in the insurance industry.
