Electrical Engineering Project Manager

Location: King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, United States. Regional travel of up to 25% is required.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year for the Project Engineer III level; the range may vary based on level, location, experience, training, knowledge, and skills.

What you will do

• Manage the full life cycle of multiple large, multidisciplinary projects from proposal conception through commissioning and close-out.
• Track and stabilize projects, resolve obstacles, and anticipate customer needs related to electrical systems and SEL products.
• Train and assist customers with the creation, design configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation of automation and protection systems.
• Assign, complete, and implement work within the agreed scope, schedule, budget, quality, and safety requirements.
• Lead the creation and finalization of customer-approved functional design specifications.
• Support proposals, marketing, sales, application engineering, and development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a relevant discipline.
• Project management experience or training related to engineering construction and electrical systems, or PMP certification.
• Application experience with electric power systems, power system protection and control, integration, automation, or communications applications.
• Experience in an electrical utility, industrial plant, consulting engineering, or system integrator environment.
• Ability to work from the King of Prussia, Pennsylvania location and travel regionally up to 25%.
