Financial Operations Manager (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid role with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week in New York, NY; Chicago, IL; or Menlo Park, CA. Compensation zones also include Lake Mary, FL; Clearwater, FL; Gainesville, FL; Bellevue, WA; Washington, DC; Denver, CO; and Westlake, TX.

Base pay: $85,850–$130,000 USD per year, depending on compensation zone, plus bonus opportunities, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Prepare or assist with financial regulatory reports for the registered broker/dealer, including Reserve Computation and FOCUS reports.
• Support the month-end accounting close by preparing accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial reports.
• Assemble data for daily regulatory reporting requirements.
• Help maintain compliance with SEC, FINRA, and other regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field.
• 5+ years of finance experience at a bank or broker/dealer.
• Strong knowledge of processes and controls for regulatory report preparation and delivery.
• Experience with accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis in a financial institution.
• Intermediate Excel and SQL skills, with comfort using AI tools.
• Series 27 or 99 certification preferred; certification must be obtained within one year if needed.
