Designer/Drafter (Construction Engineering)

Location: Arlington, MN, US; position based in New Prague, MN

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 annually

What you will do

• Develop preliminary and approved mechanical drawings for sales, engineering, customer approval, vendors, and internal shop fabrication.
• Consult with the Engineering Manager and salesperson to verify order specifications and align drawings with quotations.
• Update drawings based on customer feedback and prepare bills of material for purchasing.
• Request vendor drawings and models for components included in equipment orders.
• Prepare equipment parts lists, drawings, maintenance instructions, and complete technical manuals.
• Enter project information into the PDM system and document design changes in project folders.

Requirements

• Certificate or degree from a college or technical school, plus one year of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Dynamics.
• Ability to work at the New Prague, Minnesota location.
