Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (Voice AI)

Location: On-site in the San Francisco Bay Area or New York; compensation details specify Redwood City, California, US. Occasional international travel may be required for customer engagements.

Salary: $180,000–$300,000 base annually, plus equity.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end delivery of voice AI projects from prototyping through production.
• Build full-stack integrations with enterprise CRMs, ERPs, scheduling tools, and other systems using Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Develop voice AI solutions and apply effective LLM prompting techniques.
• Partner with sales and enterprise customers to gather requirements, create demos, and present system designs.
• Scope projects, manage risks, resolve blockers, and align technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Turn customer feedback into reusable tools, platform components, and product or go-to-market recommendations.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a customer-facing technical role.
• Fluent Spanish and Mandarin are required for communication with customers and partners; fluent English is also required.
• Experience delivering production systems in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Production-grade programming skills in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or a similar language.
• Understanding of LLM-powered systems and their impact on user experience.
• Strong communication, execution, risk-management, and problem-solving skills.
