What you will do

• Lead and develop the Advanced Threat Mitigation team across threat monitoring, incident response, threat hunting, detection engineering, and cyber defense operations.
• Direct detection and investigation of threats affecting enterprise IT, operational technology, cloud, identity, and third-party environments.
• Set the strategic direction for detection engineering, including detection rules, correlation searches, behavioral analytics, and ATT&CK coverage.
• Lead major incident response activities, including investigation, containment, eradication, recovery, executive communications, and post-incident analysis.
• Direct intelligence-driven threat hunting and advanced investigations involving sophisticated threat actors, malware, insider threats, persistence, and anomalous behavior.
• Drive automation, cyber exercises, operational analytics, technology strategy, and continuous improvement of defensive capabilities.

Requirements

• Demonstrated leadership experience in SOC or CIRC leadership, detection engineering, incident response, digital forensics, threat hunting, cyber threat intelligence, adversary emulation, malware analysis, OT security, or critical infrastructure cybersecurity.
• Current U.S. Government security clearance at Secret level or higher, or the ability to obtain and maintain one.
• Bachelor’s or associate degree with applicable experience, or a high school diploma/GED with at least four years of applicable technical experience.
• At least 10 years of security, business administration, computer science, or other technical experience, with four or more years of direct supervision experience preferred.
• Experience supporting regulated or high-availability environments.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, GCTI, GCIH, GCFA, GCED, GMON, GRID, GICSP, GXPN, OSCP, CTIA, CTCA, CREST Certified Incident Manager, or comparable advanced security certifications.
