What you will do

• Evaluate complex and high-risk consumer loan applications and assess creditworthiness.
• Make lending decisions within established authority limits, including lending authority up to $200,000.
• Manage regional workflow, credit decisions, employee development, and performance evaluations.
• Communicate credit procedures, provide guidance, and train credit representatives and supervisors.
• Review indirect lending applications sourced through dealers, brokers, vendors, and business partners.
• Develop and monitor credit procedures, exercise override authority, and recommend modifications to improve efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and two years of consumer or commercial credit experience, or a combined six years of higher education and/or relevant work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Consumer lending and underwriting experience, including moderate to complex and higher-risk loan applications.
• Ability to independently analyze financial information and make sound lending decisions.
• Experience reviewing indirect lending applications.
• Knowledge of Regulation B, HMDA, adverse action, fair lending, fraud procedures, and Privacy Act guidelines.
• Availability for flexible shifts, Saturdays, holidays, evenings, and weekends as needed.
