Engineer, Operations 2 (Manufacturing)

Location: Middletown, Iowa, United States; onsite at the company office or worksite

Salary: $76,080–$114,120 per year

What you will do

• Prepare and update operator procedures for shop-floor operations.
• Resolve daily production-related issues and support continuous improvement.
• Research and design systems for process improvement.
• Investigate equipment failures, diagnose faulty operation, and recommend actions to the maintenance crew.
• Coordinate with external customers regarding shop-floor issues.
• Develop and maintain layouts for existing and new processes and equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of engineering experience.
• Knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SAP, AutoCAD, or other 3D drawing and modeling software.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to prepare clear procedures and technical reports.
• Valid REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or current federally compliant passport required.
• Ability to perform job functions regularly at the company office or worksite, including physical shop-floor activities.
