(USA) Senior, Software Engineer - Fullstack

Location: Full-time onsite role at the Bentonville, Arkansas office; not eligible for remote work. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.

Annual salary: $90,000–$180,000, plus performance bonuses and possible stock compensation.

What you will do

• Support and enhance mission-critical online fulfillment systems for orders, pickup, delivery, inventory, and dispatch workflows.
• Own L2/L3 production support, technical escalations, high-severity incidents, and on-call rotations for 24/7 operations.
• Perform code-, infrastructure-, and data-level troubleshooting and root cause analysis, then implement permanent fixes with engineering teams.
• Build monitoring, alerting, observability, automation tools, and scripts to reduce incidents and manual intervention.
• Support production releases, configuration changes, staging and production validation, and maintain runbooks and support documentation.
• Contribute to architecture and design discussions focused on reliability, scalability, supportability, and low mean time to recovery.

Requirements

• 8–10+ years of software engineering experience with strong exposure to production support, SRE, or DevOps environments.
• Strong programming skills in Java or Python and experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, MSSQL, SQL queries, stored procedures, and NoSQL databases such as Azure Cosmos DB.
• Hands-on experience with incident management, root cause analysis, production troubleshooting, monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting tools such as Splunk or Dynatrace.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, load balancing, distributed systems, automation, CI/CD, and release management.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship and must work onsite in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Nice to have

• Experience with online fulfillment, retail, last-mile delivery, order lifecycle, inventory, or dispatch optimization systems.
• Knowledge of SRE principles, including SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Experience with chaos engineering or resilience testing.
• Master’s degree in a relevant computer science or software engineering field.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.2 AA, assistive technologies, and digital accessibility practices.
