Corporate Counsel, Commercial Contracts (Commercial Contracts)

Location: Nashville, Tennessee; Fremont, California; or remote within the United States

Salary: $175,000–$200,000 annual salary for candidates located in California; compensation for Tennessee and other locations may vary.

What you will do

• Advise business unit leadership on commercial transactions, business strategy, and risk mitigation.
• Draft and negotiate commercial agreements and related documents.
• Provide legal guidance to commercial contracts and internal business teams.
• Review solicitations and draft responses addressing legal topics.
• Manage legal projects, outside counsel, internal service-level agreements, and competing priorities.
• Improve legal processes, playbooks, templates, policies, and continuing-education initiatives.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in the United States and active membership in at least one state bar.
• 6–8 years of legal experience, including law firm or in-house experience.
• Commercial contracts and transactional legal experience, including advising executive clients.
• Ability to work as a hands-on legal generalist in a fast-paced, technology-driven organization.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and client-relationship skills.
