Salary: $122,500–$204,100 annual, with possible bonus or incentive eligibility

What you will do

• Define and lead the audio and video strategy for the Opinions section.
• Supervise and mentor multimedia professionals while fostering creative excellence and accountability.
• Collaborate with opinion editors, writers, and columnists to transform ideas into audio and video formats.
• Identify new storytelling formats, distribution channels, and audience engagement opportunities.
• Manage production timelines, budgets, and resources for consistent, high-quality delivery.
• Integrate multimedia projects across digital platforms to optimize reach and impact.

Requirements

• Significant experience in both audio and video production within multimedia journalism.
• Strong editorial judgment and the ability to make complex ideas accessible and compelling.
• Leadership and management experience guiding and coaching creative teams.
• Deep understanding of audience engagement and platform-specific best practices.
• Experience developing and executing strategy in a newsroom or media environment.
• Strong organizational, project management, factual accuracy, and editorial standards.
