Registered Nurse, Supervisor - 2nd Shift

Location: Latrobe, Pennsylvania, United States. Full-time, onsite role with a Monday–Friday schedule from 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

What you will do

• Collaborate with the Site Medical Leader and provide leadership to health center staff.
• Support staff recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, training, performance evaluation, and development.
• Manage clinic staffing schedules and oversee nursing care for all patients.
• Provide direct patient care less than 30% of the time and respond to emergency situations within the legal scope of practice.
• Oversee clinical records, supplies, medications, equipment, infection control, patient privacy, and a clean, safe environment.
• Participate in quality improvement and risk management, investigate complaints, and coordinate with clients, health center staff, and site operations leadership.

Requirements

• Certificate from an accredited nursing school or an associate degree in nursing is required; a BSN is preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the state of practice is required.
• Current hands-on AHA or ARC Basic Life Support certification for healthcare providers is required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification may be required depending on the contracted scope of services.
• At least three years of Registered Nurse experience in an emergency room, occupational health clinic, or other ambulatory care clinic.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing, Emergency Nursing, or Case Management.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification where not required by contract.
