Design Engineer I (Electrical Engineering)

What you will do

• Design and support R&D projects from manufacturing process development through production release.
• Design space-grade magnetic components, including inductors and transformers.
• Evaluate customer specifications and convert them into internal design requirements.
• Work with manufacturing to optimize processes for manufacturability, cost, and quality.
• Design and fabricate PCBAs, tooling, and fixtures using CAD tools.
• Perform product testing, analyze test data, publish reports, and provide production-line support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Zero to five years of electrical engineering experience in product development.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to translate design and process ideas into usable specifications.
• Ability to work independently on complex projects and collaborate effectively as a team member or project leader.
• High customer-service orientation.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR/EAR requirements, such as a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
