Robotics Engineer

Location: 100% remote within the United States

What you will do

• Design, build, and integrate software systems for autonomous robots and robotic platforms.
• Develop across the robotics software stack, including sensor integration, motion planning, perception, and behavioral systems.
• Translate ambiguous requirements into production-ready engineering solutions with cross-functional partners.
• Debug real-time and concurrent systems and support field tests and hardware integration.
• Participate in code and design reviews and mentor more junior engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of robotics software engineering experience; the position listing also specifies 6+ years of experience.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong C++ and Python programming skills and production experience with ROS or ROS 2.
• Experience with perception, localization, motion planning, or control, plus sensor fusion and Kalman or particle filters.
• Experience with Gazebo, Isaac Sim, or MuJoCo, and strong real-time systems debugging skills.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Robotics or a related field.
• Exposure to autonomous vehicles, drones, or industrial automation.
• Experience with safety-critical software, including ISO 26262 or IEC 61508.
• Familiarity with ML-based perception pipelines or open-source robotics contributions.
